FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

Expenses associated with registering your child for a soccer team can be a strain on family budgets. Explore financial support options tailored to assist families in covering these costs, ensuring every child has the opportunity to pursue their passion.

How to Apply for Financial Support and Register with East London Soccer Club

We believe every child should have the opportunity to play soccer. If you need financial assistance, follow these steps to apply and register:

Step 1: Begin Registration Process

  • Visit our PowerUp registration site to begin the process.
  • Log in, or if you are new please create an account then add each child you wish to register.
  • Complete the registration process, for each child, up to Step 5 (Payment), then pause—do not proceed with payment.
  • You may log out or return to the home page, but do not empty your cart—this keeps your registration active.

Step 2: Apply for Financial Assistance

Choose a financial assistance program such as KidSport London or Jumpstart and submit your application.

Step 3: Notify Us

Once you have applied for funding, please email registrar@eastlondonsoccer.ca to inform us that your application has been submitted. This will help us hold your spot until you receive confirmation of your funding.

Step 4: Confirmation of Approval

Once you receive confirmation that your funding has been approved, please email registrar@eastlondonsoccer.ca again.

In this email, include:

  • Your children’s names
  • A copy of the funding approval confirmation

If the cheque is mailed to your home then please mail it to us as soon as possible.

We are a provincially recognized philanthropic organization dedicated to building healthy and vibrant Indigenous communities.
Our funding supports health, education, arts & culture, and recreation & sports to further develop our youth into healthy thinkers, creators, and leaders to build a brighter future. By focusing on families and their children, we provide access to temporary clean drinking water and programs they may otherwise not be able to afford.

We provide grants to help cover the costs of registration fees so that all kids aged 18 and under in London can play a season of sport.

Our chapter accepts applications and administers grants of up to $250 per eligible child, per calendar year for kids living in London. If you live outside of London please contact the Provincial Office to find your nearest chapter or to get support through the Provincial Fund.
